Through the distinctive trademark of LiShen Workshop

LiShen was initiated in the 75th year of Taiwan and aimed to create and promote the traditional clothing of the indigenous Amis tribe. To safeguard rights and establish brand recognition, LiShen Workshop was founded in the 93rd year as a low-budget workshop enterprise, accompanied by selecting a product introduction website. In the 98th year, in response to the demand for online shopping platforms, LiShen Workshop participated for the first time in the Small and Medium Enterprise Administration's program to reduce the digital divide, strengthening its online marketing. The current trademark image features a design centered around mountains, seas, and the sun, with the idea of "LS" representing LiShen.

The Amis tribe has different names for the Harvest Festival depending on the region: Malalikit for the northern Amis, Malikoda for the east coast Amis, and Ilisin for the central Amis. The person in charge of establishing the workshop was born during the Harvest Festival and named Lisin by their mother. The name "LiShen" for the workshop is derived from the Chinese pronunciation of "Lisin." To differentiate from other artisans, it became the "LiShen" Workshop.

  1. The shape of the hat:  it resembles the headgear of Amis indigenous women. In Amis culture, motherhood symbolizes the sun shining upon the earth, and red represents the Amis people's respect for the sun and their mothers.
  2. The green dress: to create using materials and creative inspiration from the earth. As indigenous people who have grown up on this land in Taiwan, we believe that we should craft the most beautiful attire that belongs to this flourishing land.
  3. The wavy lines of the sea: represent the inseparable relationship between water and the Amis indigenous community. Our ancestors migrated to Taiwan from the sea; in the past, our elders lived a fishing life in rivers and seas. Therefore, we are also known as the "People of the Ocean."

These aspects have become part of history with the changing times, digitization, and convenience factors. In September of the 108th year of the ROC, in response to the demand for interactive websites and the convenience of online shopping for the public, we collaborated with EasyStore to complete the third generation of the LiShen workshop website. We believe that the shopping experience and logistics convenience provided by the website can meet the needs of today's online shoppers. To have reached this stage and to witness the internationalization of Amis clothing is beyond our expectations.
